Ai, 20, college junior (what!!!!). Too human for my own good, empath, a dreamer and a fighter. All my primary identifiers begin with a (except panaffectionate and polyamorous)--agender aromantic asexual. My preferred pronouns are zie/hir, though I answer to they/them. I write the odd short story, I RP if I can find the time (cast list here) and I'm head-over-heels in love with Abraham Lincoln (as well as a whole host of other dead white guys, but Lincoln's my number one man.)
I'm a history major and American studies minor, and although I adore my dead white dudes, I'm really a revisionist at heart, with an interest in using my skills as a historian to provide history for myself and other underdocumented groups. I'm a Midwesterner at my very core, splitting my time between Ohio (where I was born and raised) and western Illinois, where I attend school at a small liberal arts college. I'm also interested in American conceptions of nature, queer studies, deeply platonic relationships, and methods of teaching history.
At this point in my life, I'm mostly interested in consuming media that centers around hope, humor, and family. Generally this leaves me with kids' movies and comedies. I'm a proud Fake Geek (Not)Girl, because I actually rarely consume media (it never lives up to my high standards...) but I am willing and able to talk about many, many different shows, books, and movies. I'm drawn to passion, and will probably listen to you talk about anything you love, even if I don't understand it entirely.
